Poeta De Cabra writes rhyming poetry about whatever catches his attention, from the way he feels on a particular day to a prompt that sets a new verse in motion. His poem Liquid Gold brings a farmer’s relief at the breaking of a drought to Country Campfire.
Originally from Naracoorte in South Australia, he now lives in Geelong, Victoria. He has been writing for many years and released his book Almanac Of A Wayward Goat in September 2026.

Poeta De Cabra writes on many subjects, following a feeling, an idea or a prompt wherever it takes him. Alongside his rural verse, he has written poems about war and Anzac.
