Richard Keith “Dick” Roberts is an Australian bush poet, author and songwriter whose work reflects the people, landscapes and traditions of rural Australia.
Drawing inspiration from the High Country, horses, family, mateship and country life, Dick’s writing ranges from heartfelt tributes and mountain memories to reflections on the people and stories that have shaped the Australian bush.
Dick is the author of Australian Bush Poetry: Poems of the Australian Bush and More. In recent years, he has also begun giving many of his poems a new life by adapting them into songs released through Spotify and other streaming platforms.
He has been part of the Country Campfire story since the early days of the Bush Poetry Podcast, generously sharing his poetry and supporting the project as it began to grow.
